End of Season Message From Gulls President, Aqil Samuel

Dear Gulls Fans,

On behalf of the entire Gulls organization we’d like to thank you for a tremendous 2025 WCBL Season!  After a few days to process the result of the classic final series against Regina, I think we can proudly look back to what we accomplished this year.  Congratulations to the Red Sox on a great series and season!

After our Saskatchewan trip back in June, Coach Chatwood set a meeting to discuss the 1W-5L performance; kudos to him, Coach Matt, and Coach Wyatt for taking a deep dive and quickly changing the culture and expectations of the 2025 squad. We were one strike away in Game 2 and 3 feet away on the last out in Game 3 of the Final.  Although it still stings, I think we can be proud of our 5th season in the League!  

A sincere THANK-YOU to our Season Ticket holders, Flex Plan holders, Suite Owners, casual fans and anyone who attended a game this year.  To our Sponsors, thanks for the support and being a part of this, we appreciate you.  And to our Billet Family, the lifeline of our organization, thank-you for opening your homes to these players! Last but not least, our Staff, we know we threw a lot at you this year, thanks for the hard work and dedication to this organization.

Now that the Summer Send Off 2 is over (…what a party!), we are already working on getting that Harry Hallis trophy for our fans in 2026!
