Gulls 19U Prep Team
Introducing the Gulls 19U Prep Team, a premier college prep baseball program created in 2024 in partnership between the Sylvan Lake Gulls and the St. Joseph High School Baseball Academy.
Our program is designed to push athletes to their full potential, providing top-tier competition and development to prepare them for the next level in their baseball careers.
What is the Gulls 19U Prep Team?
The Gulls 19U Prep Team is an elite baseball team that competes in 50-60 games between April and July, facing off against top-tier academies from across Western Canada and the U.S. Our players will have the chance to participate in 6-7 tournaments held across Alberta, British Columbia, and Washington, USA. This is more than just a competitive team; it’s a full development experience that balances high-level competition, skill building, and exposure to college recruiters and scouts.
Home at Gulls Field
Our players will call Gulls Field home, playing around 20 home games throughout the season in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Off the field, training continues year-round with indoor practices at the St. Joseph High School Academy Fieldhouse.
Additionally, Gulls Prep players will have unique opportunities to affiliate with the Sylvan Lake Gulls during their WCBL season, allowing them to gain even more experience in a professional-level environment.
